		<description>There was also a precedent for it.  It was mentioned several times that Desire had to split off into the new Despair after the old Despair was killed (which is why they are twins).  Destruction had to keep his things, or they would have replaced him with a new Destruction.  So there was likely to be a new Dream, regardless.  The fact that it was Daniel was interesting and unexpected, as well as a bit ironic, since Daniel&#039;s father was brainwashed to think he WAS the king of dreams. . .it was a beautiful ending.  I LOVE Daniel.  Not at all a cop-out, I didn&#039;t think.  (And I particularly hate that &#039;dead, no he&#039;s not,&#039; kind of endings if they aren&#039;t organic to the story.)</description>
